Things have been pretty good lately and although I'm still looking for a good job while freelancing, I've begun to appreciate things more. In terms of art I've been developing myself and trying to find my own, (away from realism that I'm so accustomed to) so I begun experimenting with various mediums and studying color,light,shape and form.
This was a testament to experimenting in my kitchen for an hour or two with lights, dyes and glass this was taken last year though and a study of refractions, reflections and color.

I'm curious as to what's floating in the front glass. I am also curious how it would look with everything black except for the glasses-- Would probably really make them pop.
Love the glasses and the refractions and the composition. I also like the angle from which you shot this. It really does something for that middle glass.

Ah thanks a lot!

I actually really intended to have the background all black but I didn't have enough space on my counter to push the background further back (an no other place to set up the lights lol).
btw It's an apple in the front glass lol.
